In no particular order, and check back because I’ll be adding more, here are effective, energetic, skillful champions: the people I want in my corner. Check them out…perhaps you’ll discover that you want them in yours.
If you’re in West or North Vancouver, and you are thinking about selling your home or buying an investment property, there’s someone I recommend that you have a chat with. He’s one of the hardest-working individuals I know…he’s tough-minded, smart, ethical and knowledgeable. I’ll be driving past his place on the way home at 10PM or later some nights, and glance up at his window to see him still checking listings and looking up values with his laptop. That’s moxy and that’s consistency. Call him up to see if he and you are a fit–he’s Laurence Putnam at (604) 710-5990 and you can read more about him and his successes at talktoputnam.com.
When it comes to IT solutions with an accounting twist, whether you’re in a business or postsecondary education environment, the guy I want around to help make information more transparent and easier to manage is Tom Kobelt. Tom’s been doing all kinds of work to save organizations time and money through computer hardware and software solutions…and he’s been doing it for over 20 years. Have a gander at his company site, and then give him a call at (604) 574-7225 to see if there’s any way he can help you make your life with data easier.
If you haven’t signed up for Seth Godin’s blog missives, and you’re a ravenous devourer of turn-my-head-upside-down business ideas (complete with pictures), maybe you shouldn’t. His flabbergaster notion per entry ratio is disturbingly high and just might prove too much for you.
“If you’re deadly serious about long-term sales growth…” then you need to talk to Randy Hnatko. He’s my sales training coach, and his weekly seminars at 7AM are FULL. No matter how long you’ve been in the sales profession, you’ll learn something that changes your perspective (and your results!) forever. For the record, I pay for Randy’s training myself, it’s not some corporate-sponsored thing…and I know I get great value.
Like motorcycles and plan to be in the Albany, NY area? Then you’ve gotta visit Nick Capra at Spitzie’s Motorcycle Center. We’re talking decades of experience with Harley-Davidson machines, and now they’ve got the Triumph line.
People with services and expertise take heed…there’s a business networking site that’ll connect you with projects: Craig Melia’s OfficiaNet. I know Craig’s strongest desire is to give folks like us the forum to collaborate, solve some problems and make some money! Kudos for him having the guts to move from the daydreaming stage so many of us sit at, and unleash his creation into an unsuspecting business world. See if OfficiaNet is a fit for you!
